Hello, I'm Olivia...

Thank you for popping by my (virtual) office space - Tender Hearts Therapy.

I'm a qualified Counsellor, Psychotherapist, and founder of Tender Hearts, and primarily, I'm here for you.

​

 I want to create a kind and supportive space online that feels comfy for you and where you are at right now.

​

I aim to listen to you with an open heart, to hold you and your story with tenderness, and to guide you through this time in your life. 

​

I believe everybody deserves tenderness and time, no matter how big or small your story may feel.

​

I offer a gentle approach to online therapy for anxiety, depression, and life transitions, to name a few, all from the comfort of your own environment.

Together, we will co-create a dynamic and open-minded space to explore and delve deep into the sacred and fragile things you are holding close to your chest right now...and most importantly,  you will no longer have to hold them on your own.

We will all struggle in our lives at some point - it's part of the human experience, and many of us are facing challenges in our lives that can leave us feeling overwhelmed, anxious, depressed, hopeless, or uncertain about our future.​

Maybe you're stood at a 'crossroads' in your life or maybe you feel like the floor has disappeared from underneath you and you've been freefalling for a while.

 

You may experience a clenching sensation in your chest or stomach that you label as anxiety or depression. There may be a fear of losing control of your life or yourself, and a persistent sense of being on high alert to danger or rejection, leaving you feeling emotionally drained. Maybe a mental fog is preventing you from staying on task or fully engaging in your life, making it challenging to stay present with the people you love and care for, and hindering your ability to open your heart completely. Maybe you are consumed with self-loathing and fear in terms of your body image or self-worth.

 

Maybe you feel like you don't know who you are anymore or who you want to be.

 

These sensations can rob us of the feeling that we are in control of our lives, of our trust and ease throughout day-to-day life, and our peace of mind.​

About Me

My Approach

In a nutshell; I help my clients to navigate their unique struggles and support them in gradually achieving a sense of wholeness and well-being, whatever that looks and feels like for them. I guide my clients to feel more content and grounded in their day-to-day life, rather than going through the motions and never really feeling fully present. 

 

I draw on a variety of evidence-based techniques and tailor my approach to the specific needs of each individual and their unique needs - my therapy is not a one-size-fits-all. I take my time to get to know you and to allow you to settle into a rhythm that feels good, providing a supportive space for you to explore everything sacred and fragile that you are holding right now. We do this from the comfort of your own space, one step at a time.

My Expertise

In my work, I dive into the complexities and nuances of the human experience, addressing challenges like anxiety, depression, self-worth, loneliness, meaninglessness/ purposelessness, and relationship/ attachment complexities. I specialise in holding space for the intricacies of highly sensitive personalities, menstrual cycle dynamics, PMS, menopause, and major life transitions, such as grief or heartbreak.

 

My passion lies in guiding individuals through the process of embracing vulnerability and our common humanity. Together, we explore the dance between body and mind, unlocking your unique strengths and nurturing a resilient inner spirit to navigate life's twists. I want you to slowly become a kind, warm, and gentle presence to yourself - like a best friend who will always be by your side.

My Promise

As your therapist, I am committed to creating a collaborative relationship together in therapy. Essentially, I am here to get to know you... not a diagnosis, a label, or who you feel you should be.

 

I will work with you to identify the parts of yourself that are important to you as we chart a path toward a more hopeful future. I promise to wholly listen and support you, providing a space for you and all the parts of yourself, even the ones you don't like that much (yet!).

 

I hope that through therapy you feel capable and confident to implement the changes that will lead to the kind of life you have been yearning for, developing the skills and tools to stay with you for a lifetime.

 providing emotional safety and stability whilst we figure this out together,
